A Very Merry and Belated Christmas!

Where does the time go? I cannot believe that Christmas is over and tomorrow is New Year's Eve. I have been working hard on getting my house ready for Christmas and have been doing a lot of doll rebodying. My family (my brother and sisters and some of their kids) are all coming to our house this weekend for our family gathering.

Here are a few Christmas pictures of my home decor:

I ordered dolls from Amazon when they released the new 2015 Style dolls.  Here are a few photos of those.

And lastly but not leastly, I have been going through some of the dolls in my glass case and have realized that some of those girls wanted a little air. So, I have taken some of them out and they have been given new bodies and new fashions and are being acclimated with the other residents of Hanaly Corners. Here are some pictures of their transformation. I started with my Goddesses! For more, go to my Flickr account.

    1. Yes, I now have both the Caucasian and the African American versions of the Director dolls. I have managed to modify the Caucasian doll by moving her legs to a body with jointed arms and wrists, but I have not found a body with the correct skin tone that would have the same size leg joint knobs that are needed to do this for her. But, for now I like her new face with the toned down make-up, so she will join Hanaly Corners in her current condition. Glad you like the goddess transformations!

  2. Very nice dolls. I have got to have the Racquel doll. I love everything about her...especially the animal print jacket. The Goddesses look fabulous! Definitely a transformation. The great thing is that you get to enjoy them so much more this way.

    Happy New Year!

    1. You are so right and they are happier out of the glass cabinet and I feel like I have some brand new dolls. BTW, I purchased 2 of the new Racquel dolls, so I have her intact as well! My daughters got me a brand new serger for Christmas, so once I learn how to use it, I hope to do some sewing for my guys, gals and kiddos!

  8. Hi Phyllis! I hope your new year is going nicely so far. I love the Barbies you've purchased...I think her facemold is so cute and so much more innocent looking, like the faces of the Barbies I grew up with. Looking forward to more of your posts as the year unfolds :)
