Here is a photo with the group of dolls that I purchased already on their new bodies. Later, I will show some comparison shots against the original bodies.
As you can see, this gives the dolls varying heights -- which is the way it is in real life! I did a comparison of each of these bodies to it's original sized body. For the girl dolls, it is Skipper sized. I put an old Skipper head on one of the bodies. Here goes!
Here you can see all three bodies together. I probably should have disrobed the Alistair body so you could have seen the body build comparison, but I didn't do that! |
Here his is will the girls! He goes well with all of them! We need more young males! |
Thanks for stopping by.

WOW! Really glad to see the rebodied dolls! It is always nice to know what you can do. Also see the original bodies is a big help! So how are the neck holes for reboding? I was thinking about straight arm Skipper body. I don't really like the bent arm thing. are the bigger or smaller than the old 1990 body?
ReplyDeleteThe body is the same height as the 1990 Skipper, but a different neck hole, but I've made it work in the past for the current body. These newer bodies are totally stiff in the arms and legs. You also may have some difficulty matching 1990 Skipper's skintone with these bodies skintone.
DeleteOh, the kids look great! Different heights, and different builds really give them life. Great job on the rebodying!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I like that they are all different -- mimics real life better.
DeleteI didn't know there was a male sitter. It's great you found a body for him. I just want the babies and the high chairs. I'm on the hunt for the babies.
ReplyDeleteI did get some of the babies too. They are pretty cute, but come in only a diaper, but they fit Chrissy sized clothes. They are jointed at the shoulders and thighs too! I am on the lookout for the AA and Asian versions!
DeleteNastolatki fantastycznie wyglądają u Ciebie! Zmiana ciał im służy :-)
ReplyDeletePozdrawiam serdecznie!
Thanks! You know, I always have to have articulation -- that is my thing!
DeleteHi Phyllis!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this. I've always wondered which bodies I can use for Skipper. Do any of the Ever After High bodies work for Skipper? :-)
Yes, I have seen some people use the Ever After High bodies, but they are too skinny for my taste. I have used Disney Descendants, though and find that they are a better match as far as looking teenagerish!
DeleteIs it just me or does the Blonde Babysitter strongly resemble the blonde BFC doll a few years ago - I think her name was Kaitlin? Interesting.
ReplyDeleteLove your rebodies.
Hmmm, that's a good question! I will have to investigate!
DeleteYou found all of the baby sitter dolls...awesome!! The rebodies look great!! I look forward to seeing your doll room progress.
ReplyDeleteWell, almost all of them. I still need the Asian one!
DeleteWow, what a change compared to the previous series. I still have my 1998 Cool Sitter Teen Skipper doll :) Great work with rebodies, they fit well.
ReplyDeleteYes, these dolls have changed a lot! Glad you like my rebodying effort.
DeleteFor some reason that boy is even cuter on your blog than he was when I saw him in store. I guess that's the power of persuasion. Great job on the rebodies! I'm always impressed by the number of articulated bodies you have on hand.
ReplyDeleteWell of course, mine is cuter, tee hee! I think it's the articulated body that makes him better looking! I do have an impressive stock of articulated bodies on hand, but that is starting to dwindle. I have also been working on doing body mods to give dolls articulation by using joints and so on. I will be doing a future post on that soon.
DeleteI love that dolls have so much articulation now. I was just thinking about my poor old Skipper doll from the 70's. I still have her, but her arms and legs are straight as rulers. (She is also half bald and her face is almost wiped clean but I still have a soft spot for her!)
ReplyDeleteI wish they would give them articulated bodies! The limbs on these original bodies were all stiff as a board! I had to get bodies for them that had articulation.
DeleteI'm looking at your photos thinking..isn't this just like real life. Different sizes and personalities of kids, all playing together! It's interesting to see all of the different body types.
ReplyDeleteI agree, April! And I love that Mattel has added a friend for Skipper sized dolls including a boy! They have added multiple friends and boys for Chelsea, now they need to do it for Stacie too!
DeleteThese look great. I have seen the Skipper set with the baby but did not realise that she was part of a series with other characters. Your rebodies do look great.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, and the babies are quite cute too. They only come with diapers and have no clothes though so I bought some crocheted clothing sets for them that are really cute on eBay.
DeleteThey all look great and thank you for always telling us which bodies you use..that's very helpfuL! :)
ReplyDeleteI decided to that (tell what bodies I used) as everyone asks me later and this saves me from having to remember!
DeleteAll of these look great! Thanks for this detailed review and comparison!
ReplyDeletefantastyczna różnorodna ekipa!

ReplyDeleteGreat job Phyllis, I was not a big fan of articulated dolls but the made to move bodies have become a big thing for me, I actually did a few body swaps myself after coming across your page, two of my Skipper dolls are now on Liv doll bodies, I'm also waiting for the boy (Sage ) and he will go on hunter huntsman's body ( skin tone matches )keep up the great work!
